Tours

The Inner Hall at Kentchurch Court

One of the high spots of visiting Kentchurch Court must be the tour of the house. Tours are by appointment only with a minimum of ten and a maximum of sixty people.

Nash's Gothic crenellationsThe tour starts with a talk outside the house, (brief if the weather is inclement) about the arrival of the Scudamore family to Kentchurch, c.1058 and the Deer Park. Visitors are then lead by Mrs Jan Lucas-Scudamore, (and with larger groups Mrs Heather Hurley, a local historian) through the family's home, the tour takes about one hour thirty minutes. To finish, visitors can indulge in home made cream teas, or start the tour with a light lunch. Kentchurch Court
